The Church of Veganism was founded by Matthew James to provide spiritual guidance to followers of the Relonism religion and to promote Veganism to those who are not yet Relon.
The Church of Veganism is comprised of members of the International Association of Relons (the IAR) who are dedicated to the advancement of the Relonism religion and the promotion of Veganism.

Legal Recognition of Relonism
The Relonism religion was formally recognised by the courts in the United States in 2020 in relation to an employment matter involving discrimination. This means that there is now legal precedent to protect Relons who practice Veganism.
Orders of the Church
- Relons who choose to join the Order of Angels will be tasked with learning the spiritual path to Heavenly Ascension.
- Relons who choose to join the Order of Shepherds will be tasked with the operation of the Sanctuaries that harbour those who cannot defend themselves.
- Relons who choose to join the Order of Sentinels will be tasked with the protection of Relons and the Sanctuaries.
Operation of the Church
The Church of Veganism currently operates virtually and this is completely intentional because rather than wasting time, money, and resources building physical churches, our focus will be directed on diverting any available resources we have to the creation of the Sanctuaries. This does not mean that Relons will never meet in person, however the Church’s immediate focus is the creation of an online community to bring together Relons from all over the world.
Chapters of the Church
Once we have established our online community we will be better placed to form local Chapters where we live. This means that Relons will seek each other out wherever they are located and will form Chapters of the Church across the world. During this time Relons will work together to pool their resources in order to contribute more to the construction of the First Sanctuary. The Church will provide further guidance on the formation of Chapters.
Note: The Church is not currently accepting donations as we are in the process of incorporating a relevant charitable trust for donations.
Sanctuaries of the Church
The ultimate goal of the Church is the creation of Sanctuaries as instructed by God which will be a place where both Relons and rescued animals live together in harmony with nature and thriving together in peace.
A place where Relons grow their own fresh produce, breathe unpolluted air, drink uncontaminated water, and live harnessing the natural power sources of the earth.
An environment free of the chaos and depravity of mainstream society that is corrupt with greed, power, control, and manipulation.
A place where Relons are free to collectively raise their state of consciousness, project positive energy to those in need, and unite in their spiritual daily practices.
The Church’s ambition is to build Sanctuaries in every country on earth.
